Seasonal nature resets- save the dates

Something I often hear from people working in purpose-driven businesses and charities (and have found from my own experience) is that often the hardest thing isn't the doing - it's finding the time and space to step back from the doing and think about whether you're doing the right things at all.

The Seasonal Reset with Nature workshops are here to help with that.

Four times a year, I'm hosting a day in the Peak District, timed to the turn of each season. Each one offers a day away from your to-do list, in beautiful woodland surroundings, with gentle forest bathing practices, nature-inspired creative activities, and guided reflection to help you reconnect with what actually matters to you.

Whether you want to think bigger picture about your business or charity, get some fresh insights on something that’s felt sticky, or simply take a breath and remember why you started, these days are designed to give you that space.

The dates for your diary:

  • Spring Reset- Friday 27 March

  • Summer Reset - Friday 26 June

  • Autumn Reset - Friday 25 September

  • Winter Reset - Friday 18 December

All sessions will take place at Brunts Barn, Grindleford, in the Peak District, with Peak District woodland right on the doorstep. Exact timings and activities may vary- I’ll share more information nearer the time. Interested in one of the later dates? Drop me an email at helen@unfurling.uk and I'll be in touch when booking opens.

These workshops are particularly well suited to freelancers, micro business owners, and people working in social enterprises, startups, and small charities or activist groups, though they're open to everyone. If you recognise that feeling of being on the hamster wheel, always doing but struggling to get headspace to reflect, these days are for you.

I have always had a deep connection to nature, but taking the time to be truly immersed is sometimes hard to do when juggling work and family life and logistics. In a world moving at pace Unfurling gives space to breath, for which I'm very grateful.

Each season brings its own energy, and its own invitation to think differently. Spring carries that  magic of things slowly unfurling and tightly bundled potential starting to reveal itself, seeds germinating, the world remembering how to grow. Summer is expansive and full. Autumn asks what we want to harvest and what to let go of. Winter is quiet, inward, the perfect moment to reflect on the year as a whole and start dreaming for the new year.
