The Autumn Equinox is a time of transition. Nature gives us plenty of inspiration at this time of year- from the trees shedding the leaves they no longer need and showering the earth with seeds for the future, to the fungi growing in seemingly inhospitable places, to the squirrels literally squirreling away nuts for the winter. In ancient Britain, this time of year was all about gathering the harvest and giving thanks for the abundance of the earth. It was also a time of preparing for the leaner months ahead.

In recent years, the ‘back to school’ energy seems to permeate everywhere. People get super busy after a (hopefully) relaxed summer, and it can go with a bit of a headlong scramble to try to get as much as possible done by the end of the year. And I’m sure I’m not alone in finding it a tricky balance between enjoying the pretty colours and earthy smells, and a sense of trepidation about the coming cold, dark months.

The autumn reset with nature will be an opportunity to step back from that ‘back to school’ vibe, connect with nature, and think about what you’re harvesting and celebrating, and what you want to shed. There will be space to think creatively about how to make the most of the final chunk of the year without spiralling into a panic cycle of ‘ought to’s. We’ll be combining forest bathing (slowing down and mindfully connecting with nature through the senses) with nature-inspired reflective and creative practices.

A few things people have fed back about previous Resets with Nature that make me love running these events:

‘I enjoyed how you curated each step of the process so that we had the perfect environment to think and feel’

‘Loved how you put us at ease and poured your love, wisdom, attention into every detail of the day’

I feel...

‘Lighter, more attuned to my place in nature’

‘More relaxed, more positive’
