Forest Bathing in Endcliffe Park
Monday 20th July 2026
6-7:30pm
Endcliffe Park Woods (meet at the Cafe and we’ll walk together to the magical woods just up the hill)
An evening of forest bathing- using sensory activities to slow down, connect deeply with nature, and boost your wellbeing
Join us for an immersive woodland experience of forest bathing (from the Japanese ‘Shinrin-Yoku’) in the beautiful woods in Endcliffe Park. Originating in Japan in the 1980s to help city dwellers manage modern life's pressures, this practice has a strong evidence base for improving psychological wellbeing and reducing stress.
The session will involve a series of sensory activities designed to help you slow down and engage fully with the woodland environment through all your senses. As well as personal benefits, forest bathing cultivates a sense of reciprocity– inspiring participants to give back to nature as well as receive from it. We’ll also enjoy a herbal infusion together as we reflect on our experiences.
Start the week with a little mini-break from the stresses of daily life.
